ONSC's adopted trail at Uwharrie National Forest, Falls Dam, is due for some maintenance, and the Forest Service has asked that we head over March 27. Following is information we received from Terry with the USFS:

"Hi Greg - March 27th-28th is good for us. We only have one other club scheduled for that day. We need to finish our inventory next week and get final details to you. Plan on putting in some guardrail and let me know if you think the club will be able to rent a walk behind or pull behind auger. We have 3 hand/gas augers that we can use but if your club is planning on renting any equipment that would be the most useful. If you can't rent one let me know and we'll get one set up on our end. How many volunteers will you have there?

Have your club members be ready to meet the FS folks at Uwharrie Hunt Camp at 9 am on Saturday, March 27th. Have them bring water, lunch, work boots, work gloves, and if a couple of you could bring ratchet or wrench sets that would be helpful too. I'll send more details next week about what to plan for.
